“Fatally flawed.” “Tanked America’s reputation around the world.” “Worst foreign policy catastrophe in a generation.” “Epic failure.” “Complete debacle.”
This is how Democrats and Republicans described Joe Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal in yesterday’s Foreign Relations Committee hearing.
In his testimony, Biden’s Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed that the Biden administration:
1. Handed over manifests to the Taliban, but Blinken REFUSED to answer how many American names were given to the Taliban.

2. STILL doesn’t know how many Americans were left stranded in Afghanistan, but that the number of abandoned citizens, lawful permanent residents, and green card holders was in the “thousands.”
“How many legal permanent residents are we convinced are still in Afghanistan?”

3. Had, “of course,” left U.S. weapons in Taliban hands AND that the Biden administration is refusing to rule out giving AID to the TALIBAN.

Antony Blinken’s failure to take responsibility for his disastrous handling of Afghanistan only reinforces the fact that Joe Biden is a weak and incompetent commander-in-chief. Blinken should be fired.
