Blinken must be fired

In March, Secretary of State Antony Blinken promised Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal would 1.) be “responsible;” 2.) “remove our troops from harm’s way;” 3.) ensure “Afghanistan can never again become a haven for terrorists.”

 3 promises, and 3 lies.

• The disastrous withdrawal led to a Saigon-type evacuation of the U.S. embassy and chaos and death at the Kabul airport.
• Thousands of American troops were directly placed in harm’s way because of the botched withdrawal, and 13 U.S. service members were killed in a terrorist attack.
  • Biden broke his promise, abandoned Americans behind enemy lines, and the U.S. has been forced to plead with the Taliban for the safety and security of our fellow citizens.
• The Taliban is currently harboring Al-Qaeda, and the victory Biden handed the Taliban has “absolutely inspired jihadists all over the world.”

 Americans deserve answers, transparency, and accountability. That accountability needs to start with Blinken – he must be fired.
