Last fall, Joe Biden and Democrats smeared Border Patrol agents, falsely claiming they whipped migrants. Today, those agents have finally been cleared of any wrongdoing.
How it started: Biden: “It was horrible what you saw… people being strapped. It’s outrageous. I promise you those people will pay. An investigation underway now and there will be consequences…It’s dangerous. It’s wrong."

This smear was started by a Democrat activist, parroted on TV and online, and adopted by the White House without even considering the facts. We knew the story was false almost immediately, and yet Biden still pledged to bring the hammer down on Border Patrol agents overwhelmed by a crisis he created.
At bare minimum, Biden owes these agents an apology. But if he was actually interested in living up to his duties as president, he would reverse his dangerous policies that are fueling the fire at the border in the first place.
