Border Security = "Violence"?

Rapid Response

Biden DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas — in a stunning admission on CNN — just said border security is “violence to our fundamental values.”

What?

Mayorkas was referring to constructing barriers, increasing the number of Border Patrol agents, limiting asylum, and narrowing a president’s ability to unilaterally parole illegal immigrants into the country — all commonsense solutions pushed by House and Senate Republicans — and is echoing Biden, who last night called the border security measures “the most draconian actions possible.”

Of course, what they really mean is they oppose any measures that meaningfully restrict illegal immigration into the United States.

There’s no time to waste. A record 8.2+ million illegal immigrants, including 1.7+ million known “gotaways,” have crossed the border under Biden — as tens of thousands make the attempt every single day. Millions have been released into U.S. communities with little vetting. More individuals on the terror watchlist were encountered at the southern border last fiscal year than the previous six years combined.

Now, authorities are warning of an unprecedented increase in calls for violence by terror groups — particularly by exploiting the southern border.

But instead of action, Democrats insist on tying border security to billions in taxpayer funding for Ukraine — even dangling it as a “golden opportunity” from Democrats otherwise perfectly fine with Biden’s open border.

Call the dereliction of Biden, Mayorkas, and congressional Democrats what it is: a danger to the American people.
