Gas prices are at record levels, but what does Biden want to do? Hike taxes on the U.S. energy industry by $43.6 billion. These tax hikes would make it costlier to produce more oil and gas here at home, making us more dependent on foreign countries and ultimately driving up gas prices even more.
You heard that right. From day one, Biden has waged war on American energy, and his budget shows nothing has changed. The budget doesn’t even hide the motivation behind the tax hike. They want to lessen “investment” in American oil and gas, insisting investment is “inconsistent with the Administration’s policy of supporting a clean energy economy...”
It’s a good reminder that the pain at the pump is the POINT of Biden’s anti-American energy agenda. If Biden gets his way in his budget, American families will have to budget for even more of a Biden gas hike.
