Bye, bye American pie, took my Chevy to the gas pump but the gas price was high, those good old boys were wanting cranberry pie, searching but the shelves were dry, searching but the shelves were dry…
Surging prices, empty shelves … Americans either can’t find their Thanksgiving favorites or they can’t afford them.
According to a new survey from the American Farm Bureau Federation, this Thanksgiving is shaping up to be the most expensive on record, with the price of a Thanksgiving meal surging 14% from last year.
Reminder, this is a report from the same organization that the White House touted when they claimed Americans were saving 16 cents on their 4th of July cookout. That 16 cents and then some just went up in smoke.
Thanksgiving trimmings are in short supply, and food banks are unable to meet the needs of Americans who need help the most.
This is the impact of Bidenflation, and the American people are most definitely not thankful for rising prices and shortages this Thanksgiving.
