Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser must really think she is above following HER OWN MANDATES.
When Bowser was spotted maskless at an indoor wedding reception on Saturday, her first response was to lie. She pleaded blameless based on the mask exception for “actively eating or drinking.” But as it turns out, she wasn’t “actively eating or drinking.” She was just hanging out with her mask off. How do we know? It’s on video.
Reminder, her violation came after she delayed D.C.'s mask mandate so she could throw her own birthday party. It’s beyond parody, and would be hilarious if it didn’t show how much of a hypocrite she truly is.
No one made Bowser mandate that vaccinated D.C. residents wear masks. No one forced her to break her own mandate. If she really thought it was such a burden, she should lift the mandate and stop forcing it on everyone else in the nation’s capital.
