Yesterday,
Democrat Senator Patty
Murray brazenly lied saying “I’ve not heard one Democrat
say defund ICE,” as Democrats are actively holding funding hostage from ICE
during their DHS shutdown.

Here are
over 30 Democrats that have called to defund or abolish ICE:
- Senator Ed
Markey: "I don't think ICE is any longer capable of
existing."
- Rep. Jim
McGovern: “I believe that we should abolish ICE.”
- Rep. Summer
Lee: “The call now is to abolish this agency.”
- Rep. Glenn
Ivey: “We either need to just abolish [ICE] or overhaul
it.”
- Rep. Jimmy
Gomez: “I’m in favor of abolishing Trump’s ICE.”
- Rep. Maxine
Dexter: “We can absolutely dismantle and abolish ICE."
- Rep. Robert
Garcia: “ICE, particularly as an agency, cannot continue to
exist.”
- Rep. Seth
Moulton: "It’s clear to me that ICE needs to be
abolished.”
- Rep. Bonnie
Watson Coleman: “If that means abolishing ICE, then that’s
damn well what we need to do.”
- Rep. Dan
Goldman: "We have to tear it down, abolish it.”
- Rep. Mike
Levin: "I will not support funding that enables ICE to
operate... that is why I voted no."
- Rep. Shri
Thanedar: “There is no way to reform it…we must abolish
ICE.”
- Rep. Adam
Smith: "In the current situation I do not support
funding ICE...”
- Rep. Delia
Ramirez: "ICE is a terrorist organization. It needs to
be defunded. It needs to be abolished."
- Rep. Ro
Khanna says Democrats must abolish ICE.
- Michigan Senate candidate Abdul
El-Sayed: “There is no reforming…there is only abolishing
ICE.”
- Illinois Senate candidate Juliana
Stratton: “I’m making a call to abolish ICE.”
- Texas Senate candidate James
Talarico: "It is time to tear down this secret police
force.”
- New Jersey Congressional
candidate Adam
Hamawy calls to abolish ICE and dismantle DHS.
- California Gubernatorial
candidate Tony
Thurmond: “I will work with Congress until we abolish ICE.”
This is
today's Democrat Party: Ten toes down defending criminals while calling to
defund law enforcement officers who keep our communities safe.
