Christmas Prices? Still High.

No, Christmas isn’t “cheaper” this year.

As Americans head home for the holidays, the costs for virtually every aspect of the season remain far more expensive under Biden. Prices for “holiday essentials” are up 21 percent since pre-pandemic, while Christmas trees have surged more than 10 percent over last year.

Overall, prices are up 17.4 percent since Biden took office, while food prices are up more than 20 percent and the nationwide average for gas is up  ~30 percent under Biden.

Americans are feeling the strain, and it shows:

• 77 percent of travelers will change their holiday plans due to inflation.
• Half will take on more debt to cover holiday expenses.
• Half will be less generous this year due to inflation.
• 34 percent will forego giving gifts altogether due to inflation.
• 1 in 3 are “worried about straining their budgets” over the holidays due to inflation.

Coupled with the myriad of other dismal economic news, Americans have every reason to be dismayed at this year’s holiday prices — and it’s all Biden’s fault.
