Cringe, Part ∞

Last night, Joe Biden made the four-mile trek across the Potomac in a desperate attempt to rescue Terry McAuliffe’s dumpster fire campaign. The result was cringe, part infinity.

Biden’s speech was a rambling mess of vindictiveness and disdain, rife with some of his biggest falsehoods:

• Biden called Ralph Northam his “pal” just two years after Biden demanded he resign over a photo of Northam in blackface (so did McAuliffe).
• Despite the rising cost of goods, the supply chain crisis, and declining real wages, Biden absurdly claimed the country is on the “right track.”
• Biden shamelessly took credit for President Trump’s successful vaccine rollout, despite Biden’s own failure to “shut down” the virus as he repeatedly promised.
• Biden couldn’t articulate his own “vision” for America.

It makes sense that Biden was campaigning with Terry McAuliffe; they’re both chronic liars.

• McAuliffe (again) falsely claimed that “in Virginia, 1,142 of our children have been in ICU beds and our hospitals” due to COVID. The real number is 35.
• He repeated the lie that Republican Glenn Youngkin will “ban books,” insinuating the 14 Democrats in Virginia’s Black Caucus who voted for the parental notification legislation McAuliffe vetoed are “racist.”

McAuliffe knows he can’t run on his own record, so he’s lying about his opponent.
