“We believe there should be more than just two opportunities for the American people to hear from the candidates,” top Trump advisors Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles write in a memo to the Biden campaign — proposing debates in June, July, August, and September, along with a VP debate.
That schedule gives Americans maximum exposure to their two major candidates’ records — President Trump’s record of strength and prosperity and Biden’s record of weakness and failure — before voting begins.
