Newsflash for Joe Biden: You can’t change reality by arguing over definitions.
That hasn’t kept Biden from trying:
- “Recession” – In practically the same breath the Biden administration recognizes the common definition of a recession – two quarters of negative GDP growth – they insist that definition is wrong.
- If not that definition, how about this one? 72% think the economy is “weak” and 64% say their financial situation is “getting worse.”
- “Savings” – Gas prices are close to $2 more per gallon than when Biden took office, and he has the audacity to claim Americans are “saving” money on gas? In fact, the average family has LOST $1,500 due to higher energy prices since Biden took office.
- “Border crisis” – Biden refused to recognize reality and call the border crisis what it is: a crisis. There is no other way to describe 4 million illegal immigrants crossing the border, including over 800,000 “gotaways,” since Biden took office.
- “Temporary” and “transitory” – The Biden administration STILL hasn’t admitted they were wrong about inflation. In fact, the “transitory” excuse is making a comeback.
- “Woman” – We still don’t know if the Biden administration can define what a woman is…they definitely prefer the absurd term “birthing people.”
- “Extraordinary success” – This is what Biden called his Afghanistan withdrawal…the same withdrawal that killed 13 American servicemembers, left hundreds behind, and handed terrorists a safe haven.
It’s all part of the same delusion from team Biden – they think all they have is a messaging problem. In truth though, they have a policy problem, and you can’t change reality by playing games with definitions. The American people are too smart for that.
