Democrats look to bring back their COVID mandates — just in time for election season.
In Democrat-run locales across the country — New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, to name a few — officials are requiring masks for certain populations while urging others to wear masks in public. An elementary school near Washington, D.C. just brought back forced masking for third graders, while colleges and universities in liberal areas also force their students to be masked.
Meanwhile, Biden has resumed wearing a mask (sort of) as the administration pushes “updated” vaccines for another year.
This comes as Americans say the opioid epidemic, obesity, cancer, unsafe driving, and smoking are bigger public health threats than COVID-19 and just 15 percent of Americans say they still wear a mask.
We’ve seen the consequences of Democrat lockdowns and draconian COVID requirements. We know forced masking “affect[s] learning and development, particularly for our youngest learners” and disproportionately impacts students with disabilities — and we know there is very little evidence supporting the efficacy of mask mandates on kids.
So why are Democrats still obsessed with forcing kids to wear masks that don’t work?
