Democrats for cashless bail

Democrats aren’t satisfied with destroying our cities, they want to nationalize their failure to keep our streets safe.

Exhibit A: Democrats running for Senate across the country want to eliminate cash bail:

• North Carolina Democrat Cheri Beasley supports cashless bail and thinks there’s “great value” in the “premise” that we should “tear down” the justice system.
• Ohio Democrat Tim Ryan answered “yeah” when asked if we should eliminate cash bail, and expressed “no opinion” on whether judges should consider public safety when considering bail.
• Georgia Democrat Raphael Warnock insisted “we must end cash bail.”
• Pennsylvania Democrat John Fetterman “want[s] to get rid of cash bail.”
• Wisconsin Democrat Mandela Barnes sponsored a bill to eliminate cash bail and bar courts “from using the severity of a defendant’s crimes to argue against their release.”

It’s not just Democrats running for Senate, but Democrats running for the House as well – including Sean Patrick Maloney, Hillary Scholten, Michelle Vallejo, Greg Landsman, Sean Casten, and the list goes on.

In case you aren’t familiar, ending cash bail, or “bail reform” as proponents ridiculously call it, has been a disaster in New York. Among those New York has allowed to stay on the streets: people who attacked cops, mugged people with a weapon, and committed heinous hate crimes. Many of those people released committed other offenses. One man out on bail after multiple arrests killed a woman.

Democrats already want to defund the police, empty the prisons, and refuse to enforce the law. Now they want to bring their failed policies to the Senate and eliminate the filibuster to force them down the throats of the American people. Voters won’t let them.
