For four
years Democrats opened our border, welcomed millions of criminal illegal
aliens, protected them under sanctuary
city policies, and enabled them to commit heinous crimes against
Americans.
Yesterday
during a hearing on sanctuary city policies, Angel Families spoke out on their fatal
consequences:
- Angel
Mom Jennifer Heiling: "She was a multiple offender,
two times over her legal limit, and...she’s never had a license to be on
the road in the first place.”
- Angel
Mom Jennifer Heiling: “If this particular woman had been
responsibly dealt with and deported after the first time drinking and
driving, then we would not be in this position right now.”
- Angel
Mom Laura Wilkerson: “The lies I want to talk about today
are what I’m hearing from Ms. Crockett and Mr. Raskin...what are you
giving [criminal illegals] sanctuary from? The law?”
- Rep.
Jeff Van Drew: "Failure to honor ICE Detainers
resulted in...29 homicides, 2,500 assaults...300 robberies, 400 dangerous
drug offenses, 300 weapons offenses, and 200 sexual predatory offenses.”
- Rep.
Jeff Van Drew: “They had the man who shot and killed
Sheridan Gorman…the Biden Administration released him...these same
sanctuary policies protected the man who killed Katie Abraham…”
Despite
these families pouring their hearts out, Democrats doubled down on their
sanctuary policies and smeared ICE agents
— a slap in the face to the American
people and families of
the victims of illegal alien crime.
Despite Democrat
obstruction, President Trump and Republicans will continue to secure the border
and enforce our immigration laws to protect the American people.
