Democrats lock down schools, again
Jake - Schneider

It’s a new year, but that hasn’t stopped a chorus of Democrats (at the behest of powerful teachers’ union bosses) from attempting to again force lockdowns on America’s students.

In Democrat strongholds across the country – including in Massachusetts, Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Seattle, Chicago, Portland, and Washington, D.C. – local teachers’ unions have threatened to strike if their demands for virtual learning are not met.

And with more than 2,100 public schools already shuttering for in-person learning, Biden’s Education Secretary Miguel Cardona is threatening even more “emergency” closures.

For months, experts have increasingly sounded the alarm over the “crushing” harms of prolonged school closures on kids’ mental health, noting “dramatic increases” in failing grades and a host of other mental health problems.

During the campaign, Biden called school closures “a national emergency.” But now that he’s no longer running for president, don’t expect Biden  – who routinely brags about his wife’s teachers’ union membership and remains far too cozy with said education cartels – to take a stand against the lockdowns. Doing so would require courage, of which Biden has none.

Instead, Biden has bowed to the direction of the teachers’ union bosses every step of the way.

Biden failed to “shut down the virus” as promised, and America’s students are left to pay the price.
