Democrat Fails, Hypocrisy, and Lies

Democrats run the same playbook in Arizona: lie, smear, and lie again

Rapid Response

Democrats seem to believe that the best way to respond when they’re caught in a lie is to just keep on pursuing those lies. At least that’s what they’re doing on commonsense election integrity laws.

After blowback from a smear campaign against a Georgia law that made it easy to vote, harder to cheat, and included overwhelmingly popular integrity measures, like voter ID provisions, Democrats have decided to run the same playbook in Arizona.

Today, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey signed a commonsense election law to prevent live ballots being mailed to bogus or outdated addresses.

And yet, Democrats have already initiated a smear campaign with false claims of “voter suppression” in Arizona.

The facts:

  • The law enables Arizona to stop automatically mailing live ballots to voters who haven’t returned mail ballots for 4 years and then fail to respond to a mailed notice of removal.
    • It does not remove anyone from the actual voter roll.
  • It simply reduces the amount of live ballots mailed to defunct addresses.
  • If a voter wishes to remain on the list of voters who automatically receive a mail ballot, he or she only needs to return a mail ballot at any election during that 4 year period.  Voters who are removed from the automatic absentee list are free to opt back in at any time.

Democrats cost Georgia businesses $100 million in tourism revenue after bullying businesses, spreading outright lies, and smearing opponents.

Now Arizona is the next victim of their cynical campaign to harm voters and the local economy for the sake of baseless fearmongering. The RNC will continue to call out the woke mob.
