Democrats: The anti-opportunity party

Rapid Response

To expand diversity and opportunity in education, we need to support school choice and expand parental involvement in the classroom.

Republicans believe that no one should be denied a quality education based on where they are from, what zip code they live in, or the color of their skin.

But where do Democrats stand? They oppose school choice, supported extended lockdowns, deferred to special interest groups to set reopening guidelines, and want to kick parents out of classrooms. Disgracefully, with their outrage over today’s Supreme Court decision, the Biden administration is now de facto supporting the blatant racism against Asian American students in these programs.

As put by Chief Justice John Roberts:

“Nothing prohibits universities from considering an applicant’s discussion of how race affected the applicant’s life…Many universities have for too long wrongly concluded that the touchstone of an individual’s identity is not challenges bested, skills built, or lessons learned, but the color of their skin. This Nation’s constitutional history does not tolerate that choice.”

Nothing should be controversial about that. But once again, Democrats are showing they are the anti-opportunity, pro-discrimination party. Republicans are the opposite.
