Republicans want to give victims of crime a voice. Democrats want to silence them.
It’s a contrast made clear by the absurd rantings and ravings of Democrat politicians who are upset that the House Judiciary Committee’s hearing today is drawing attention to the 22% rise in major crimes in New York City.
Rep. @EliseStefanik on the @HouseGOP hearing in NYC today:

“New York is the epicenter of this catastrophic crime crisis… Democrats - their response has been interesting and been very telling - they want to silence these victims of crime. We want to give them a voice.” pic.twitter.com/0HcmuHgLMw
Democrats claim the hearing is a “political stunt,” but the millions of people fleeing Democrat-led cities know that it is not. If Democrats truly think calling attention to the crime crisis is a “political stunt,” they should show up and say that to the faces of the victims of their soft-on-crime policies.
This victims’ rights activist calls out Alvin Bragg for claiming the GOP hearing on crime in NYC is a “political stunt.”
