Democrats' weaponization of the DOJ

Rapid Response

Joe Biden and the Democrats are weaponizing the Department of Justice to attack commonsense election integrity laws.

Why? Because the Democrats failed to pass their federal power grab, HR1 – “the Corrupt Politicians Act.”

So now, they’re looking to the Department of Justice to attack Georgia’s commonsense voter integrity law based on their unfounded lies, flying in the face of the will of the American people, who believe states, not the federal government, should decide voting rules and regulations, and the will of the people of Georgia.

Reminder, in Georgia:

  • 65% of individuals surveyed support requiring a driver’s license number to verify absentee ballots.
  • 74% support additional absentee ID requirements.
  • 52% said voting laws should prioritize establishing safeguards against fraud.
  • 52% support shortening the runoff period to 4 weeks instead of 9 weeks.
  • 55% believe that ballot drop boxes should only be allowed “inside early voting sites.”
  • 60% endorse an “earlier deadline to request absentee ballots,” with a cutoff of 11 days instead of four days before election day.
  • 54% support prohibiting election officials from mailing unsolicited absentee ballot applications to registered voters.
  • A majority say the law increased their confidence in the state’s election system.

Not only did Georgia’s law establish commonsense, widely supported voter integrity measures, it EXPANDED opportunities to vote, making it easier to vote than in many Democrat-run states.

So how many lies is Biden going to tell? Haven’t the people of Georgia suffered enough after Biden spread lies about the election integrity bill, costing small businesses $100 million in revenue?

Democrats are willing to tear down widely supported voter integrity provisions and politicize the Department of Justice all to take over state elections in a partisan power grab.

For Democrats, it’s always been about power – they’ve admitted it.
