Dems' border policy: Constant crisis

Republican Joe Pinion called out Chuck Schumer on the border crisis yesterday: “The mayor of New York City just declared a state of emergency for a migrant crisis Chuck Schumer spent two years saying was a figment of our imagination.”

He’s spot on – border-state officials have been sounding the alarm for almost 20 months, and Democrat politicians completely ignored them until the crisis arrived in their backyard. Joe Biden has still not been to the border, and Kamala Harris is now ignoring the crisis completely.

  • The current Democrat majority has helped Biden throw the border wide open. Senators Raphael Warnock, Catherine Cortez Masto, Maggie Hassan, Mark Kelly, and Patty Murray voted against hiring 18,000 Border Patrol agents, against Title 42, and against the border wall.
  • What about those Democrats running for Senate? Can voters expect someone like Tim Ryan – who thinks Schumer is his “future boss” – to do anything about it? Or John Fetterman who thinks he’s not “all that important” to “f*ck with” Biden’s agenda? Or Mandela Barnes who wants to abolish ICE? Of course not.

No matter how much fentanyl pours over the border or how many "gotaways" escape into the country, Democrats have made clear they will never secure the border. In 8 days, it will be time to vote them out.
