In March 2021, the mayor of Gila Bend, Arizona – a town with a population of less than 2,000 – expressed frustration at how the Biden administration was bussing illegal immigrants to their city without help or coordination: “we do not have the resources to handle all these people being dropped in on us...we need help…I don’t really hear from any of the administration.”
That was 18 months ago. 4.2 million illegal immigrants, including 850,000 gotaways, have crossed the border since Biden took office. But Democrats didn’t care when the city is named Laredo, Gila Bend, Carrizo Springs, Del Rio, El Paso, or McAllen. They only care about their ritzy vacation spot.
Biden’s border crisis is inhumane, immoral, and reckless. Meanwhile, Senators Mark Kelly, Catherine Cortez Masto, Raphael Warnock, and Maggie Hassan have joined Biden in abandoning these communities.
Voters will remember in November.
