California is the perfect example. The liberal Democrats driving the state into the ground are banning the sale of new gasoline cars by 2035. But the electric grid can’t even handle the electric cars in California now. In fact, the manager of the state’s power grid advised Californians to not charge their electric cars during certain times to prevent blackouts.
It’s clearly an absurd policy, yet those are the exact “energy” mandates Biden “Energy” Secretary Jennifer Granholm applauded as a model for the country.
Unfortunately, the influence of Biden’s war on American energy extends beyond California. Electricity costs have skyrocketed 15% since last year, the largest single-year increase in 16 years. According to Axios, those high costs mean 20 million American households are at risk of losing power.
