The White House wants you to know that Joe Biden’s “leadership” led to inflation…at least before they deleted the tweet.
It’s too bad they deleted it, because in reality, Biden does deserve the blame for inflation. Even liberal economists like former Obama advisors Larry Summers, Steve Rattner, and Jason Furman, along with Biden’s own Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, say the Democrats’ $1.9 trillion “stimulus” fueled inflation, which is the biggest threat to the economic security of families, including seniors, today.
You know who else deserves blame? Every Senate Democrat. That includes Maggie Hassan, who not only voted for the inflationary spending but asked for CREDIT even as prices surged.
One year ago today, the American Rescue Plan was signed into law, giving families and small businesses much-needed relief and helping navigate the country out of the pandemic.
