Dems on Cocainegate: "No harm, no foul"

The Secret Service has ended its investigation into the cocaine scandal at the Biden White House after failing to identify a suspect.

“Shocking!” said no one ever.

Biden’s chief mouthpiece insists the investigation was “thorough,” but the administration clearly isn’t interested in getting to the bottom of the scandal — lest it reflect poorly on one of their own.

Instead, Democrats just want to move on:

• “If you all want to be strip searched for substances before you go in the White House, that’s something that you should work with the Secret Service,” says Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell.
• “No harm, no foul,” says Democrat Rep. Jamaal Bowman.
• “I didn’t know they were ending the investigation,” says Democrat Rep. Elissa Slotkin.
• “You should ask the Secret Service,” says Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar.
• “They just were not able to come up with any forensic evidence,” says top Biden spokesman John Kirby.

Biden has been conspicuously absent from the conversation, refusing to weigh in altogether.

It begs the question: what is this White House hiding?
