Dems turn their backs on the fentanyl crisis

If House Democrats want to fight the fentanyl crisis, they need to stop empowering the cartels.

Synthetic-opioid deaths have skyrocketed 80% in the last two years, but House Democrats have repeatedly blocked a bill to permanently classify “fentanyl-related substances as a class into schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act” – an important measure in cracking down on illicit fentanyl markets and the criminals profiting from them.

The DEA says Mexican cartels are “killing Americans with fentanyl at catastrophic and record rates.” But instead of addressing the problem, Democrats are throwing the border wide open and running candidates that want to decriminalize all drugs.

And on top of it all, Democrats are determined to deny reality. In just the past week:

• Nancy Pelosi falsely claimed “the border is secure.”
• Democrat Bennie Thompson refused to answer when asked if the border is secure, claiming he couldn't answer because he had “to go give a speech.”
• “Squad” member Ayanna Pressley refused to comment on Biden’s inhumane border policies.

Democrats have turned their backs on the border and the fentanyl crisis. And while over 900,000 “gotaways” have escaped into the U.S., Democrats have decided to send 87,000 IRS enforcers after the middle class and small businesses.
