Diesel, “the fuel that moves the economy,” just reached an all-time high. What does that mean? Even higher costs for everything transported by truck.
Diesel is now $5.32 a gallon, $2.30 more expensive than just a year ago. This comes as gas prices remain extremely elevated under the Biden Gas Hike.
Americans have been struggling under increased prices. NBC News reports that “as the economy is shrinking, so too are people’s wallets.” Yolanda, a mother of two, told NBC, “I don’t fill my gas tank up as much; I put enough to get me where I need to be and to get back home...As far as groceries, no I don’t buy the normal amount of groceries as I normally do.”
But how little does Biden care? He has repeatedly called high energy prices an “opportunity” to push his anti-U.S. energy agenda, while also laughing at Americans paying more for gas. USAID Administrator Samantha Power literally said of potential mass starvation, “never let a crisis go to waste."
A shrinking economy, shrinking paychecks, shrinking wallets … those are the impacts of Biden’s policies, and it’s only set to get worse.
