Today marks one year since the Supreme Court rightfully overturned flawed judicial precedent with its Dobbs decision.
On this important anniversary, there are three points we’d like to make extremely clear:
- Number one: The Dobbs decision saved countless lives and put America more in line with the democratic world and most countries in Europe. Decades of shameful abortion on-demand practices had America in a global category alongside countries like China and North Korea.
- Number two: Democrats are abortion extremists. Republicans have not pushed for a ban of abortion, but widely supported limitations. To call those limitations “bans” is pure misinformation. Meanwhile, Democrats have refused to support ANY limit on abortion. They want limitless late-term abortion on demand for any reason. In fact, House Democrats even voted against providing medical care to babies who survive abortions.
- Number three: The Republican Party is the pro-women and pro-family party. While Republicans support mothers with much needed resources while engaging in this conversation with compassion, far-left radicals have been firebombing churches and pregnancy centers with no meaningful response from Biden’s Department of Justice. Meanwhile, Democrats are seeking to strip resources from centers that provide much needed help to mothers if they don’t explicitly support abortion.
Democrats have unleashed a hurricane of misinformation and bad-faith attacks – during the midterm cycle, Democrats spent nearly $360 million on abortion-related lies. But in the face of such an onslaught, Republicans and Americans of good will have the truth on our side.
