Georgians certainly aren’t addicted to Joe Biden. He’s so toxic, even Democrats are keeping their distance.

Stacey Abrams herself isn’t attending. Her excuse? A scheduling mix up. Yeah right – that’s an excuse even CNN and MSNBC aren’t buying.

A more likely reason: Biden’s plummeting approval rating. Voters give Biden a thumbs down, including on COVID and the economy. And Georgians have better reason than most for shunning Biden – his baseless boycott cost Atlanta businesses $100 million when MLB moved the All-Star Game.

Voters remember how Biden hurt Georgia small businesses, nearly 30% of which are Black-owned:

  • Darrell Anderson, the owner of a limousine business in Atlanta: “I know firsthand how badly our community wanted the All-Star Game played here. The $100 million in revenue to this area was going to be the opportunity for all of us to recover some of the losses that we incurred during the pandemic.”
  • Tudy Rodney of Rodney’s Jamaican Soul Food: “We’re trying to build back from a pandemic that happened last year, and something like this is not good for business. Rodney’s will suffer.”
  • Andy Erbacher of AJ’s Famous Seafood & Poboys: “We’ve got ourselves through COVID…and we’re looking forward to going up, instead of going back down.”

Biden is toxic in Georgia, and for good reason. Come November, Georgians will send him and Democrats a message at the ballot box.
