Easter & Passover costing more than ever

This is a season for celebration, but one thing Americans won’t be celebrating is Bidenflation.

Inflation is now costing the average American family an extra $536 per month compared to when Joe Biden took office according to Congress’ Joint Economic Committee. If inflation stopped entirely, you will still pay an extra $6,431 dollars over the next 12 months.

With Easter and Passover approaching, Americans can expect to pay more for their holiday essentials with food prices up 8.8% over the past year. The prices of a Seder Plate or an Easter dinner are higher than ever. A breakdown:

Eggs: +11.2%
Candy: +7.6%
Ham: +14.6%
Pork chops: +13.8%
Pork roasts, steaks, and ribs: +15.4%
Meat: +14.8%
Bread: +7.1%
Rolls: +10.8%
Cakes/Cupcakes/Cookies: +6.6%

And Americans paying these absurd prices may be the lucky ones. Supermarkets and butchers are facing a “nationwide kosher poultry shortage.” One kosher grocery shop in Atlanta issued a notice to its customers warning of empty shelves for Passover amid “supply chain issues” and rising “transportation costs.”

People feel the pain of Biden’s inflationary policies in their pocketbooks, and his empty platitudes, broken promises, and blame games won’t change that.
