For years, Joe Biden’s relatives have been leveraging their family name to secure high-paying “consulting” gigs, lucrative foreign real estate deals, and exorbitant contracts.
Even CNN is reporting on the Biden family’s bid to peddle their influence for access and more.
While much in CNN’s report has long been known, it does include a few key facts:
- The Bidens’ influence peddling scheme continued even after Joe Biden was elected president. For example, a year after he took office, his youngest brother, Frank, promised “federal dollars” to a group of medical professionals thanks to the “bully pulpit” of his “brother Joey.”
- In 2018, Joe Biden’s other brother, Jim, took out a loan “based upon representations that his last name, ‘Biden,’ could ‘open doors’” and once even described himself in a proposed Chinese deal as “a personal advisor to his brother.”
- Joe Biden met with Hunter’s business partners at the White House on multiple occasions when he was vice president — including at the White House — despite his repeated claims otherwise.
“Is this president compromised?” asks newly minted House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer. After more than five decades in professional politics, deceit, corruption, and lies have simply become part of Joe Biden’s identity — and the rot likely doesn’t stop there.
