Even The Washington Post is confirming that Ted Cruz was right – Ketanji Brown Jackson is involved with approving “initiatives” at Georgetown Day School that teach critical race theory and gender identity “even in younger grades.”
[The board] does approve some social initiatives, including the anti-racism enrollment pledge, according to multiple people familiar with school’s operations and reporting in the student newspaper. The school credits the board’s chair with guiding the school’s ‘institutional growth around anti-racism.’”
The board’s chair Lisa Fairfax, who “guid[es] the school’s ‘institutional growth around anti-racism,’” introduced Jackson on the first day of the senate hearings this week.
As Jackson pointed out, since Georgetown Day School is private, parents enroll children in the school willingly. Doesn’t that suggest she supports the school’s ideology? If she approves the critical race theory “initiatives” promoted at the school, wouldn’t that imply she thinks teaching critical race theory to kindergarteners is a good thing?
It’s an important question to ask, because as Keisha Russell of First Liberty explained, critical race theory is “incompatible with the judge’s oath to uphold the Constitution”
