For years, Wisconsin Democrat Senate candidate Mandela Barnes has been outspoken about defunding “over-bloated” police departments — saying it “pains” him to see fully funded police budgets.
But for a guy who neither supports nor respects law enforcement, Barnes certainly relies on them — a lot. In fact, Barnes uses TEN TIMES as much taxpayer-funded private security as his predecessor.

That pathetic hypocrisy is not unexpected from Barnes, whose contempt for law enforcement is trumped only by his extremist ideology.
It makes sense Barnes wants to release HALF of the state’s prison inmates – a move Barnes called “sexy.” And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Barnes does not belong in the United States Senate.
