How long did John Fetterman want Pennsylvania’s draconian COVID lockdowns to last? Indefinitely.

This means Fetterman wanted school shutdowns — something he called an “absolute necessity” — to be indefinite.
In July, Fetterman continued to push lockdowns — hinting that schools wouldn’t open in the fall. He claimed it was up to what parents were “willing to do — and that’s masking, masking, masking.”
None of this should come as a surprise considering Fetterman’s close association with the teachers’ unions — who he promised will be his “first call” as Senator so they can “tell” him how to do his job.
But while Fetterman was aggressively pushing lockdowns, he was taking his own advice and staying home, right? Wrong.
In June 2020, while the Pennsylvania Department of Health was ordering people not to travel, Fetterman took his family on vacation to the Jersey Shore — and made Pennsylvania taxpayers pay for it.
John Fetterman isn’t just a hypocrite — he also thinks the rules don’t apply to him.
