Fetterman Wants To Open Taxpayer-Funded Drug Dens

Rapid Response

As drugs and violent crime tear apart communities across Pennsylvania, John Fetterman has a few solutions:

Release 12,000 prisoners, decriminalize meth and heroin, and open taxpayer-funded drug dens.

Although Pennsylvania ranks third in the nation for drug overdose deaths, Fetterman wants to encourage drug use through so-called “safe injection sites." Not only do these drug dens “lessen the incentive for participants to enter treatment and recovery,” but they also fail to reduce “the number of overdose events.”

Perhaps most confounding is Fetterman’s push to decriminalize heroin and other illicit substances at a time when Pennsylvania’s opioid crisis has reached epidemic proportion – and he’s not backing down.

More drugs, criminals, and carnage on the streets — that’s what John Fetterman wants for Pennsylvania.
