Meet Alexis Rodriguez, convicted of murdering 17-year-old Sean Daily, the son of a Philadelphia cop. Rodriguez beat Sean with a baseball bat and watched as his fellow gang members shot Sean in the back.

Why did Rodriguez and his gang hunt down this teenager? Because he was white. According to one informant, the leader of the gang said they would go after “any white boy that they can get.” After the killing, gang members were “high-fiving” and Rodriguez even “bragged at a party after the attack that he broke a baseball bat” over the victim’s head.
Last year, Fetterman was the lone vote to release him.
This is a pattern for Fetterman, who was also the sole vote to release a man who shot and killed a teenager for heroin money and a man who viciously killed a 58-year-old woman with a pair of scissors.
What is driving Fetterman’s insatiable desire to release such brutal killers? It makes him “happy” — because, in his words, life sentences for murder are a “tragedy.”
