Joe Biden adopted a truly bizarre slogan for his State of the Union last night: “Finish the job.”
Finish the job? On what? Fueling inflation? Opening the border? Lowering wages? Emptying our energy reserves?
The slogan lands differently when you remember that American families are poorer, our cities are less safe, our energy reserves are depleted, and our border is in chaos after two years of Joe Biden.
From a president who has created crisis after crisis, “finish the job” sounds a whole heck of a lot more like a warning than a promise. Unfortunately for American families, maybe it’s both.
