For Biden, high gas prices are the point

Rapid Response

Who’s paying the price for Joe Biden’s radical anti-energy agenda? American drivers.

In Michigan, where Biden traveled today, drivers are paying an average of $1.30 more per gallon than they were a year ago.

But what’s the Biden administration’s response? Laughing and telling Americans to “expect” less from Biden while offering NOTHING to lower energy costs.

The answer is obvious – stop attacking American energy and encourage domestic production instead – but the Biden administration is refusing. They are even refusing to tell Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer to stop trying to shut down Michigan’s Line 5 pipeline, which if forced offline would increase energy costs in Michigan and across the Midwest.

Why? Because high gas prices are the point. Press Secretary Jen Psaki admitted as much when she said high gas prices justify “doubling down” on Biden’s radical Green New Deal-style policies that contributed to surging gas prices in the first place.

So next time you feel pain at the pump, you know who to “thank” – Joe Biden.
