Democrat governors in California, Illinois, and New York each announced plans to water down mask requirements in public spaces, but keep fully in place forced masking policies in K-12 schools.

Notwithstanding the obvious contradiction between ending one mask mandate but not the other – and announcing it weeks before its supposed end – what is it with Democrats and their fixation on forced masking in schools?
Is it control? Is it power? It certainly isn’t “science.”
In fact, forced masking policies are decidedly anti-science; such mandates “affect learning and development, particularly for our youngest learners” and disproportionately impact students with disabilities. That’s why the U.S. is one of just seven Western countries that forces students to wear masks.
Republicans have been saying since the beginning that forcing masks on kids is about nothing more than appeasing bitter Democrats seemingly intoxicated by the illusion of control.
But while powerful, leftist special interests are calling the shots, don’t expect the Biden administration to come to kids’ rescue.
The damage is already done, but Biden doesn’t care.
