FRIDAY NEWS DUMP: New Border Numbers Released

Rapid Response

In another late-night Friday news dump, the Biden administration just announced 251,487 illegal immigrants were encountered at the southern border in December — another month with the highest number of illegal crossings on record.

Exactly two years into the Biden administration, the border crisis remains the worst on record.

More than 5.6 million illegal immigrants have crossed the border since Biden took office, including 12,298 unaccompanied children and 1.1 million illegal immigrants who managed to escape Border Patrol and vanish into the country.

It’s not just border communities reeling from Biden’s border crisis; illicit drugs continue to flow into the country at an alarming rate with just five to ten percent being intercepted as officials struggle to contain the smuggling. In fact, 2,414 pounds of deadly fentanyl and 10,308 pounds of methamphetamine were seized at the southern border in September, with much more getting through undetected.

What will it take for the Biden administration to act? When will enough be enough?

Don’t hold your breath.
