In less than two months, Biden has completely flipped on mask mandates for vaccinated Americans.
Apparently, when Biden pronounced “vaxxed or masked” he just meant “masked” with no end in sight. If he was going to change his mind so quickly, this is what he should’ve tweeted:
These mandates are unlikely to slow the spread, and Biden’s mixed messaging and the lack of transparency behind the move are likely to HURT efforts to get more people vaccinated. Astonishingly, he is causing all this confusion while conceding that the U.S. is “not likely to see a comparable rise in hospitalizations or deaths” from a rise in cases.
In fact, Biden, members of his administration, and Nancy Pelosi have already broken their own mask mandates several times. The new mandates have been in place for less than a week!
For Biden, it’s not about the science, just virtue signaling, political theater, and power.
