Median national rent was up 9.2% in the first six months of 2021.
And on a 12-month basis in June:

Food, gas, rent, utilities like electricity – prices for all of these everyday expenses are going up because of the inflation fueled by Biden’s failed policies. As many Americans struggle to get by, real wages are DECREASING and 70% of Americans say recent price hikes have “caused hardship” for themselves and their families.
Evidence is growing that former Obama economic adviser Larry Summers was right to warn about the massively wasteful spending in Biden’s $1.9 trillion boondoggle. And according to a new report from Axios, business leaders are sounding the alarm that more price hikes are on the way. That means that even though we’ve seen months of record price increases, the worst of Biden’s hidden tax is yet to come.
That’s worrying news for all Americans.
