The news from the border is truly heartbreaking – 22-year-old Texas Army National Guard Specialist Bishop Evans lost his life trying to save two illegal immigrants who appeared to be drowning. It turned out they were drug smugglers trying to enter the U.S. illegally.

The men and women guarding our border – including the National Guard from several states trying to fill the gap Biden has opened – show valor and bravery every day. We are praying for Bishop Evans and his family.
Because of Biden, morale at the border is at new lows, drugs are flooding over the border and affecting communities around the country as law enforcement is overwhelmed, and the record-breaking crisis is worsening, putting Americans at the border in near-impossible situations.
But what has Biden done? Tied the hands of law enforcement and baselessly and publicly smeared Border Patrol agents. Now, he’s ending the use of Title 42 despite warnings it will lead to even more illegal immigration.
Biden needs to understand: He created this humanitarian crisis, lives are being lost as a result, and he is only making it even worse.
