“Help is not on the way.”
That’s Democrat New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ message to his city — reeling from a massive influx of illegal immigrants — after a meeting with federal officials in D.C. last week.

The city has been inundated with more than 140,000 illegal immigrants over the past year, with taxpayers on track to spend $40,000 per migrant in social welfare, health care, and other public services. In fact, a quarter of all patients across New York City’s public hospitals are illegal immigrants.
It’s the same story in communities across the country, which are being overrun by the border crisis. Under Biden, an average of 5,000 illegal immigrants are being released directly into U.S. communities every day — millions in total — with little to no vetting.
In total, a record 8.2+ million illegal immigrants, including 1.7+ million known “gotaways,” have crossed the border under Biden — as tens of thousands make the attempt every single day.
Meanwhile, Democrats are holding border security legislation hostage in favor of billions for Ukraine.
What will it take for Democrats to take the border crisis seriously?
