Censorship. Blacklists. Shadow banning. Twitter’s old leadership insisted it wasn’t happening. They were lying.
POLITICAL CANDIDATES were targeted for suppression. That is blatant election interference by Big Tech oligarchs, a threat to free speech, and a potential in-kind contribution to the Democrat Party. Big Tech even targeted the RNC itself. Our Chair Ronna McDaniel was shadow banned in 2018. When the RNC called them out, Twitter lied, insisting they do not shadow ban.
And it goes beyond Twitter. For 10 months leading up to the midterm election, Google sent crucial end-of-month Republican GOTV and fundraising emails to spam with zero explanation (the graph below shows the pattern). This did NOT happen to Democrats.
That’s why we sued them. Big Tech must be held accountable for its blatant bias. The new Republican majority will do just that.
