Hope It Was Worth It

The devastating impacts of the Democrat Shutdown are not over, and Americans will now have to bear the burden of Democrats' grossly incompetent decision to shut down the government in a temper tantrum after not getting $1.5 trillion in radical demands.
 

Thanks to the Democrat Shutdown, our economy has lost over $90 billion:

• Goldman Sachs estimates approximately $15 billion GDP loss per week 
• The CBO reported that it cost the economy $7 billion in its first month
• The travel industry has lost over $4 billion in its first month
• The Federal Reserve will not be able make informed decisions since government agencies have not collected economic data
• The Small Business Administration reported several businesses are contemplating closing because of blocked loans that were imperative to their survival
• Federal contractors who are not eligible for backpay, will result in wage losses for millions of Americans

House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries calls this "valiant." 

If the last 43 days have taught us anything, it is that Democrats are in no position to lead.

Their foolish decision to hold Americans hostage will haunt them in the 2026 midterms. Hope it was worth it.
