With House debates underway around the country, Democrats are struggling to explain why they voted to put the boot of Bidenflation on the necks of struggling Americans.
Take New Jersey Democrat Tom Malinowski – who debates this week – as an example. He ADMITTED Democrats own responsibility for Biden’s inflation. He even said he “accept[s]” that responsibility!
Well, responsibility means answers. Why did Democrats vote for Biden’s $1.9 trillion “stimulus” which even liberal economist say fueled inflation? Why did Democrats vote to raise your taxes? Why did Democrats vote to hire 87,000 new IRS enforcers?
The answers this campaign season have been less than inspiring. Iowa Rep. Cindy Axne insisted “high gas prices and inflation” are just “narratives” that aren't “even remotely” Biden's fault. Virginia Rep. Elaine Luria admitted the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act” has nothing to do with inflation. Michigan Rep. Elissa Slotkin conceded Democrats “own” the inflation crisis.
Bidenflation will cost the average American family $8,600 over the next year, even if prices stop rising. Democrats’ dodges and platitudes won’t put that money back into the pockets of American families.
Time for a new House majority in November.
