If Joe Biden actually spoke to everyday Americans instead of spending 40% of his presidency on vacation, maybe he would stop tweeting absurd nonsense like this:
I’m sick and tired of talking about trickle-down economics.
— President Biden (@POTUS) March 7, 2023
I ran for president to build the economy from the bottom up and middle out.
And we’re getting it done.
Real wages and savings are DOWN from when Biden took office. Families are poorer as a record number of Americans say they are worse off after two years. Those who can least afford it are hurt the most, with 61% of lower-income Americans saying they are worse off than a year ago, matching Great Recession highs.
While Biden retreats to his beach house and Corvette, House Republicans are leaving the D.C. bubble. The House Ways and Means Committee is holding a hearing in Oklahoma today to highlight the struggles Americans are facing.
That’s the contrast: A president in denial who puts his vacation first vs. a House Republican majority that recognizes reality, steps out of the Beltway, and puts the American people first.
