House GOP Makes Contrast On China Clear

The contrast between Joe Biden and Republicans on confronting China couldn’t be clearer.

  • Joe Biden and his administration essentially touted draining our emergency oil reserves and sending millions of barrels to China and other foreign entities as their top energy “accomplishment” in 2022.

  • House Republicans just voted to prevent “further direct or indirect sales and exports from our Strategic Petroleum Reserve to the Chinese Communist Party,” and to establish a select committee on strategic competition with China.

Now with our reserve at a 40-year low and gas prices still outrageously high, Biden has no plan to replace the oil he sent to China. The contrast couldn’t be clearer: Republicans want to unleash American energy and hold China accountable, Biden wants to attack American energy and send our reserves to the CCP.
