House Republicans just passed the Lower Energy Costs Act to reform permitting and unleash American energy! Instead of joining them, House Democrats decided they'd rather be dependent on Venezuela, Russia, and China for our energy.
Reminder: On average, Americans have lost over $2,250 paying increased energy costs since Biden took office. Where has that money gone? Electricity is up 12.9% and natural gas is up 14.3% from last year, and gas costs over $1 more per gallon than when Biden took office.
So as families struggle, what part of American energy do Democrats find so objectionable? Turns out, all of it. The real reason they opposed the Lower Energy Costs Act? High costs have always been the point in their vendetta to destroy U.S. energy production.
